My rotation starts in the middle of the cycle
When you set up a job, the app asks which day of the cycle today is. Tap that day; the calendar fills in the past and the future from it. You can change it later with Edit cycle in the menu.
My rotation is not in the list
Choose “Custom”: work N days, rest M days, with your own start and end time. For rotations with several shift types, start from the closest ready rotation and change the shift times.
How are overtime and night hours counted?
If you log the actual start, end and break of a shift, the time beyond the planned shift counts as overtime; an extra shift counts in full. Night hours are the worked hours inside the night window (by default 22:00–05:00; change it under Night hours window on the Hours screen). A shift counts in the month in which it starts.
Where do the amounts come from?
Only from hours × the hourly rate you enter for a job or a workplace/project tag. They are estimates before any deductions, not a payslip.
The reminder came late
Dutyloop uses Android's battery-friendly reminders, which can be shown up to an hour late. Pick an earlier reminder time if you need more margin. On some phones (for example Xiaomi or Huawei) also allow Dutyloop to run in the background in the battery settings.
Adding the widget
With Pro, tap Settings → Add to home screen. If your home screen app does not allow this, long-press the home screen → Widgets → Dutyloop. On some phones the app first needs the “Add shortcuts to home screen” permission.
The image says “Made with Dutyloop”
Images from the free version carry this small line at the bottom, and the share text includes a link to the app. Pro removes both.
Moving to a new phone
Settings → Back up now creates one .dutyloop file with all jobs, entries and tags. Save it to Google Drive or Files. On the new phone install Dutyloop, choose Settings → Restore from backup, then open the app again when asked. Backups are free.
Restoring Pro
Use the same Google account on the new phone and tap Settings → Restore purchase. Pro is a one-time purchase and never renews.
