Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026. App: ShotSheet: Photo Report & PDF (Android package com.identityka.photoreport), published on Google Play by identityKa under the Plainwharf name. Contact: support@plainwharf.com
ShotSheet (“the app”) lets you take stamped photos, add notes and create PDF reports. It has no user accounts and no server of its own. This policy explains what stays on your device and the little that leaves it.
In short
- Your projects, photos, addresses, GPS coordinates, notes, signatures, company details and reports are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
- The app sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland this happens only if you allow it; everywhere you can turn it off in Settings → Privacy choices.
- If you buy Pro, Google Play handles the payment and RevenueCat checks the purchase.
- No advertising, no advertising ID, no selling or sharing of data for ads.
Data stored on your device
Everything you create in the app — projects, photos (with or without the stamp), dates and time zones, GPS coordinates and accuracy, addresses, titles, notes, status tags, mark-ups, signatures, your company profile and logo, and generated PDF reports — is saved in the app’s private storage on your device. If you turn on “Save to gallery”, stamped photos are also saved to your device’s photo gallery.
This data leaves your device only when you share it: for example when you share a PDF report through the system share menu (email, WhatsApp, Drive, etc.) or export a backup file. Where it goes then is your choice, and the receiving app’s or service’s privacy policy applies.
Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Camera | To take photos inside the app. |
| Location (only while the app is in use) | To stamp the photo with coordinates and to suggest an address for the project. The app never asks for background location. |
| Photos (system photo picker) | To add photos from your gallery. The app only sees the photos you pick. |
| Media location (optional, off by default) | Only if you turn on “Keep location of gallery photos”, so the app can read the location saved inside photos you pick. |
Address lookup
To turn coordinates into a street address, the app uses the address service built into your phone’s operating system (on Android, the Geocoder provided by Google Play services). To answer, the phone sends the coordinates to that service. This request is made by your device’s system service under its own terms (for Google: Google Privacy Policy); we do not receive the coordinates or the address. If no address service is available or you are offline, the app shows coordinates only and you can type the address yourself.
Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
To see which features are used and to fix crashes, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google LLC.
- Usage statistics: names of app events, such as “project created”, “photo captured”, “report generated”, “report shared”, “backup exported”, “paywall shown”, together with device and app information Firebase collects automatically (app version, device model, operating system version, language, an app instance identifier, and approximate country/region derived from the IP address). Event data never contains your photos, addresses, coordinates, names or notes.
- Crash reports: technical details when the app crashes (stack trace, app version, device model, operating system, an installation identifier).
- No advertising ID: the app does not collect the Android advertising ID, and ad-related consent signals are set to “denied”.
- Your choice: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and when the region cannot be determined) the app asks before sending anything, with equal “Allow all” and “Allow none” buttons. Elsewhere it is on by default. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
- Retention: analytics event data is kept for at most 14 months; crash reports for 90 days.

Purchases (Google Play and RevenueCat)
Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment card or Google account details. The app uses RevenueCat, Inc. to verify purchases and restore them on a new phone. RevenueCat receives a random app user identifier, the purchase token and product, price, currency and country/store, and keeps purchase records as needed to provide the service and for accounting. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Analytics and crash reports: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where consent is requested; otherwise our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f)). Purchase verification: performance of the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)). Google and RevenueCat may process data in the United States; they rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Deleting your data
- Delete a project in the app to delete its photos and reports. Settings → Data → Delete all data removes everything the app stored on the device and resets the analytics identifier.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored in its private storage. Backup files you exported and photos saved to your gallery stay where you put them.
- The app has no account, so there is no account to delete. Analytics and crash data are not linked to your name or email. If you still want us to request deletion of analytics data linked to your app instance, write to support@plainwharf.com.
Children
The app is a work tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold your content and have no accounts, most of these rights are exercised directly in the app. For anything else write to support@plainwharf.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page when the app’s data handling changes and show the new date above.
