These terms apply to Beetwise: Garden Planner (“the app”), published on Google Play by identityKa under the Plainwharf name (“we”). By using the app you agree to them. The terms of the store you downloaded the app from also apply.

The app and its dates

The app suggests sowing, planting and harvest dates from long-term average climate data and general horticultural rules. Weather varies from year to year, and local conditions (altitude, frost hollows, coast, microclimate, varieties) can differ from the averages. Dates are suggestions, not guarantees; check the weather and your local conditions before planting. Companion-planting notes are traditional advice, not proven science.

Free plan and Pro

• The free plan includes the planting calendar for all crops, 1 garden, 2 beds, reminders for up to 3 crops, the journal and rotation warnings, with no ads.
• Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers where shown) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy and may vary by country.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before. If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, you will be charged for the first year.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions (or Settings → Manage subscription in the app). Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Payments, refunds and cancellations are handled by Google Play under its policies. Where local law gives you additional rights (for example a withdrawal right in the EU), those rights apply.
• To get Pro back on a new phone, use the same Google account and tap “Restore purchases” on the Pro screen.

Your data and backups

Your garden data is stored only on your device. We cannot see or recover it. Uninstalling the app or losing the phone deletes it unless you have exported a backup file.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break the law or infringe others’ rights. Do not reverse engineer the app or extract its built-in data tables except where law allows.

Data sources

Contains modified Copernicus Climate Change Service information [2026]. Neither the European Commission nor ECMWF is responsible for any use that may be made of the Copernicus information or data it contains. Place names from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0); plant names drafted from Wikidata (CC0); plant families from USDA PLANTS.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law we give no warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost crops or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant we will show it in the app or on this page with a new date. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
