Brovo (“the app”) is a party guessing game played on one phone. It has no user accounts and no server of its own. This policy explains what stays on your device and the little that leaves it.
In short
- Your settings (sound, vibration, rounds, round time, team names) and your own decks are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
- The app does not use the camera or the microphone, and it does not collect usage statistics or crash reports. It contains no analytics or advertising SDK.
- If you buy Pro, Google Play handles the payment and RevenueCat checks the purchase.
- No advertising, no advertising ID, no selling or sharing of data.

Data stored on your device
Settings, team names and your own decks are saved in one file in the app's private storage. Scores of games are not kept after you leave the winner screen.
This data leaves your device only when you share it: when you share one of your own decks as text, or save a backup file, through the system share menu. Where it goes then is your choice. A shared deck contains its name, its words and a last line with the app name and a Google Play link; it contains no identifier of you or your device.
The QR code on the winner screen (without Pro) contains only the fixed address plainwharf.com/brovo/r/ — no score, team name or identifier.
Sensors and permissions

The app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage permissions. Backup files are opened through the system file picker, which gives the app only the file you choose. The screen stays on during a round; this needs no permission.
Purchases (Google Play and RevenueCat)
Pro purchases are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment card or Google account details. The app uses RevenueCat, Inc. to verify the purchase and restore it on a new phone. RevenueCat receives a random app user identifier, the purchase token and product, price, currency and country/store, and basic device information (such as operating system and app version), and keeps purchase records as needed to provide the service and for accounting. Your decks and settings are never part of this. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Purchase verification: performance of the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your game data is processed only on your device. RevenueCat and Google may process data in the United States; they rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Deleting your data
- Delete your own decks in the app.
- Uninstalling the app, or Android Settings → Apps → Brovo → Storage → Clear data, deletes everything the app stored. Decks you shared and backup files you saved stay where you put them.
- There is no account to delete. For purchase records held by RevenueCat, see Delete your data.
Children
The app is intended for teenagers and adults (13 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, KVKK, LGPD or US state privacy laws) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we do not hold your game data and have no accounts, most of these rights are exercised directly in the app. For anything else write to support@plainwharf.com.
Changes
We will update this page when the app's data handling changes and show the new date above. If a future version sends any data from your device, it will be described here before that version is released and, where required, will ask for your consent first.
